Legal services

Contracts, corporate documents and disputes, handled by lawyers who know your file.

Shareholder agreements, commercial contracts, employment and regulatory matters, advised by a licensed law firm from our network, briefed by the adviser who knows your file.

  • A written brief from your corporate file, so the lawyer starts from facts
  • One hand-over: the corporate steps after the advice are picked up by us
  • The law firm's fees under its own engagement, ours itemised separately

Rows of law reports on library shelves

Velarozone is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Where a matter needs a lawyer โ€” a shareholder agreement, a commercial contract, an employment question, a regulatory position, a dispute, or the documentation behind an escrow or paymaster arrangement โ€” a licensed law firm from our network advises under its own engagement letter and bills its own fees. We brief the firm, coordinate the work alongside your corporate file and bill the VelaroZone service fee separately.

Scope

What you get, and what we never do

What is included

  • A written brief for the law firm drawn from your corporate file, so the matter starts from the facts.
  • Introduction to a licensed law firm from our network whose practice fits the matter and the forum.
  • Coordination of documents and information between you, the firm and any authority.
  • The corporate steps that follow the advice โ€” filings, registers, resolutions โ€” carried out by us.
  • One point of contact across the legal and corporate work.

What is not

  • Legal advice from Velarozone, in any form.
  • The law firm's own fees, which it quotes and bills under its own engagement letter.
  • Any promise about the outcome of a dispute, a negotiation or a regulatory question.
  • Notarisation, attestation and court fees, which are charged by the body concerned.

What it costs

Two engagement letters, nothing hidden inside either.

The law firm bills its own fees; ours are itemised separately. Both are written down before anything is spent.

The law firm's fees

Quoted by the law firm under its own engagement letter โ€” a fixed fee for a defined document, time-based for advice and disputes โ€” and paid to the firm. We never publish them for the firm.

The VelaroZone service fee

Our coordination โ€” the brief, the introduction, the corporate follow-through โ€” is itemised in your engagement letter, separately from anything the law firm bills.

Third-party charges

Notarisation, attestation, court and authority fees are charged by the body concerned and passed through at cost, itemised.

Before anything is spent

The scope is written down first: what is a legal matter for the firm, what is a corporate task for us, and what each will cost you.

A fee for legal work is the law firm's to quote; a fee for corporate work is ours, and it is in the letter.

Process

How the work is sequenced

Each stage has its own dependencies and we report progress against them, not against one overall date.

  1. 01

    Scope

We identify what in your question is a legal matter and what is a corporate task, and write the brief.

  2. 02

    Engage

The law firm is introduced, issues its own engagement letter and agrees its fees with you directly.

  3. 03

    Advise and draft

The firm advises, drafts and negotiates. We supply the corporate facts it needs as it needs them.

  4. 04

    Follow through

The filings, register entries and resolutions the advice calls for are completed by us and recorded on your file.

Who advises, and who bills

Legal advice is given by a law firm from our network, licensed to practise in the UAE, under its own engagement letter with you. The firm decides its own fees, issues its own invoices and carries its own professional responsibility for the advice. Nothing it tells you passes through us as advice, and nothing we tell you is legal advice.

Velarozone coordinates: the brief, the introduction, the flow of documents and the corporate steps afterwards. That is billed as the VelaroZone service fee on our own invoice, itemised in our engagement letter with you, and it is never a share of what the law firm charges.

Common questions

Straight answers

Can Velarozone give me legal advice?
No. We are a corporate-services and advisory firm, not a law firm. Where your question needs a lawyer, we introduce a licensed law firm from our network that advises under its own engagement.
Who do I pay for the legal work?
The law firm, on its own invoice, under its own engagement letter. Our coordination is billed separately as the VelaroZone service fee. You will see two invoices from two firms for two different things.
Why not go to a law firm directly?
You can, and for an urgent dispute you should. The value we add is the brief โ€” the lawyer starts from your structure, your shareholders and your history rather than discovering them โ€” and the corporate follow-through once the advice is given.
Which courts hear a dispute involving my UAE company?
It depends on what the contract says and where the company is registered. The onshore courts, the DIFC Courts and the ADGM Courts each have their own jurisdiction and rules. Which forum applies, and whether it should, is a question for the law firm.
Can the law firm draft our escrow agreement?
Yes, and it should. The escrow agreement names the regulated escrow agent, sets the release conditions and is signed by the parties and the agent. We coordinate it with the escrow service; the firm drafts and advises on it.

Describe what you need โ€” the agreement, the contract, the employment question, the dispute. We reply with what is a legal matter, what is a corporate task and which law firm from our network we would introduce.

Free assessment โ€” current figures are confirmed within your adviser-reviewed route comparison. Your details are not shared with third parties.
